Platja de Cala Millor

Beautiful beach! We visited in early April and it was pleasantly uncrowded, still warm enough to swim and enjoy some sunbathing. We stayed in the free area without sunbeds, which was great, just bring your towel and pick your spot. Sandy beach, lovely atmosphere, and there were even people playing volleyball. Really nice and relaxed vibe! Close to all restaurants.

Absolutely LOVED this beach. It was crowded, but the water was calm, crystal clear, warm, and a beautiful shade of turquoise. It was shallow, but also had depth further out. There were a couple of pieces of trash, we saw in the water which was a real shame :( Also, smokers, pick up your cigarette butts! We found a spot on the beach easily and there was a free parking lot nearby.

A lovely place for a holiday with the children or for those that are maybe a little old that only want a flat area to walk around. If you want plenty of clothes shops, ice creams to die for, bars and restaurants then there's plenty of choice! The beach at the northern end is very sandy, whereas the southern area near the nature reserve is a little rocky but it's all good for the kids or snorkeling.
